The persuasiveness and power of his words were widely accepted and the Christian community of the city was born., with many believing and becoming his disciples. We will visit the old city walls, one of the most important monuments of the co-capital, with their architecture combined with the construction possibilities of the time, to make it unique. They were built in the 4th AD. century with total length 8 kilometers to form a border between the city and the sea, to be demolished in the 19th century in order to expand the city. Today we can only see a small part of them that has been saved. Then we will go to the Rotunda which owes its name to its circular shape. It was built in the 4th AD. century, as a temple of Zeus to be converted into a Christian temple in the early Christian years and to end up as a mosque during Ottoman rule. Today it is a visitable museum and is considered one of the most important Roman monuments in Greece with its excellent quality mosaics.. The rotunda was connected through a portico to the Arch of Galerius, a triumphal arch dating to the end of the 3rd AD. century and together with the White Tower, is a trademark of Thessaloniki. Early in the morning we will tour the historic center of Athens where we will visit the Acropolis with the famous Parthenon and the museum with the great exhibits dating back to ancient times.. Admire the unique architecture of Mykonos Town with its old churches and majestic and aristocratic mansions and walk through the narrow whitewashed alleys with blooming bougainvilleas and white houses with blue wooden windows., among the famous pelicans of Mykonos. Late in the afternoon we will board the ship to continue our cruise.

Early in the morning and having already reached the coasts of Asia Minor and specifically in Kusadasi, we will visit the ancient city of Ephesus which is just located 18 Kilometers away. Ephesus was one of the most important Ionian cities in Asia Minor, dedicated to the goddess Artemis and is one of the largest open-air museums in the world. The Artemisio, the temple in honor of the goddess Artemis who needed more than 120 years to complete, was one of 7 Miracles of Antiquity. After touring the ruins of a great civilization and one of the most well-preserved cities of antiquity, with its history and architecture still awe-inspiring we will return to the ship and depart for Patmos.
